After testing a code in my css according the back to top bottom the whole content of the site disappeared. So it seems…
Only the backgroubd image and the header and navigation are visible.
Can you take a look?
Hi there,
Thanks for writing around! I checked your homepage and there is nothing in there. Did you try to edit it with Cornerstone? It seems like the page was previously created with visual composer. Please note that page created outside Cornerstone are not editable in Cornerstone and vice versa. I’d recommend you to try restoring the page to the previous working revision.
Let us know how this goes!
I am working on replacing a backup.
It seems there is some kind of bug: placing custom CSS causes loss of content.
The site was almost replaced yesterday evening. After placing the old custom CSS the same occured; loss of content.
The CSS I placed second time was totally different from the CSS I placed first time.
Is such a bug known?
That is strange! No, actually we did not have a report like that.
I wonder if this is a specific case for one page or something that is happening constantly?
I would do a 3rd part plugin conflict test by deactivating all plugins except Cornerstone to test the case.
Thank you.
Thanks. Will try your suggestion and see of it repeats itself.
But, Cornerstone is activated but not visible as choice. I work now in WPBakery…
Whats the relation between them?
Hi there,
If Cornerstone is active, you should be able to see the option to build the page using it.
And no, Cornerstone is a different page builder to WPBakery.
Hope this helps.
OK Thats clear now. Thanks.
The reason for loosing content was a corrupt databse according to my local it specialist.
No idea how it occured.
Everything is working again.
Thanks
Glad to hear it’s now sorted.
Cheers!
