Disable wordpress block editor for Wordpress 5?

Good morning,

The latest Wordpress has been installed and I found the new block editor being a pain - main thing was when trying to change a page title it wouldnt allow me to until I ‘edit with wordpress’ which then upset X Pro.

So I have installed https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/ and that seemed to have worked throughout.

Is this what you would recommend or is there a better way?

Thanks for writing in! Your method seems to be the recommended workaround for this. Classic editor plug-in will be supported through 2021. Interesting, thank you for this! Do you know X/Pro’s future plans for this? I guess soon we would not need to install the classic editor plug-in and X would work around it?
