I have a modal element that I do not want to use the element’s toggle at all. Instead I want the modal to be triggered by other buttons on the page by using the modal’s toggle hash. What is the best way to disable the toggle when it’s not needed on the page, as in my case?

In your Modal element settings, disable the Text and Graphic option. The width and height should also be set to 0.
