Disable googel fonts

Hi there,
I still didn´t solve the problems with disable googel fonts. You told me to disable it under typography/theme options. But now I have to change the whole website page by page to change the text from a spezial font to inhert. This means a lot of work. is this the only solution?
Thanks and best regards
Kerstin

Another thing: changing the weight of the text (when I choosed Inherot) is only possible to change when I use classic text, not the text .

I am totally confused how i should change my website to fonts, which are not loaded from google.
All other themes I know work fine with the plugin OMGF, but pro doens´t. And this is a big problem within the EU, so please help. I have all my customer pages with pro!

Best regards Kerstin

I changed all text blocks to typo from the system at the startpage, but all google fonts are still loaded, see screenshot

Hello @praxisnah2016,

Thanks for writing in! I have logged in to your site and I am seeing this Typography setting:

This means that all fonts used in the site is Gill Sans which is a system fonts. I also checked the page source and I am not seeing that a Google Font is loaded though there is some custom CSS code that calls for a font name. Still, it will just display the system font and not the Google Font since the font file source is nowhere to be found on the page.

I also have seen these which is not a valid HTML code and will result to an issue:

You are using a Headline element and have set the “HTML Tag” (<h1>, <h2>) in the element settings already. Yet, you added a <p> in the content. Be advised that you CANNOT nest a <p> HTML tag inside a heading tag. I would highly recommend that you check all your text contents and make sure that you have inserted a valid HTML code and that each HTML tag is properly closed (<tag_name>some text </tag_name>).

If you are wondering why the Classic Text and the Text element have different display just like this:

It is because they do not share the same settings. The Classic Text is getting the styling from the Theme Options which is Gill Sans with 200 font weight and a line height of 1.8 while the Text element is using the Gill Sans (inherited font) with 400 font weight and a 1.3 line height.

Hope this helps.

Hello Ruenel,
thanks for your help! I am glad that googel fonts are not loading.
And I will check all may headlines. But still changing the font to system font is a lot of work, would be better the 3rd part plugin would help. Let´s see…

But thanks anyway!
Best regards Kerstin
