Different visualization between the frontend of the website and the backend

Hi,

I’m finding lots of problems between the live version and the version that I see from my wordpress account.

In particular, posts’ images are showed in a completely different way in the live version. They are not centered and smaller. I have this problem in all the blog posts, while when I open my blog from my wordpress account everything is fine and the images visualization is correct.

I really don’t know what to do, I try to clear my cache multiple times, I try to modify images, but nothing good happened.

In addiction, I have one more problem related to the arrows in the menù for the submenù of “mega menù”. In the live version my arrows are not showed properly but they looks like a weird square.

Please I really need your help!
Thank you so much.

I’m investigating the issue and I’m thinkin that after the last WP update (version 5.4.2) lots of issues appear. Like warning while loading the editor, cornerstone button “edit with cornerstone” is not in his original position anymore (at the beginning of the page) instead I found all the code and at the end of the page the “edit with cornerstone” button, now I found out that all the images are resizing during the loading of the blog post and in general they look weird.

I don’t know but maybe can help.

Hi Luigi,

Thank you for writing in, but I can’t seem to replicate the image issue on my end, this is how the featured image looks on my end. Please clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache).

Regarding the icon, please navigate to Theme Options > Miscellaneous and make sure FontAwesome are turn On

Cheers!

Thank you!!

I’ve just found out that the problem was the “lazy loading” of the images. The problem was not in the featured images but in the images in the blog posts, all the blog posts.

I’ve deactivated the “lazy load” option and the images work fine. Before the last update everything worked fine. As I said I have different issues after the last update. What can be the solution?

Font awesome are all turned on

Hi Luigi,

Glad to hear you were able to narrow down the culprit. So are you referring to the new WordPress core lazy load feature? I’ve not observed an issue with this, but it’s fairly new so there is a possibility there are conflicts and edge cases we need to address in Pro. We will double check this before our next update to see if we can uncover anything.

If you’re comfortable with turning the feature back on it may help us to see the problem on your site specifically in case there’s anything we can advise that will help. While it’s off, regretfully I don’t think we’ll be able to find a solution for your site specifically.

Okok I see. No, I’m not referring to the new WordPress core lazy load feature, but to the siteground optimizer plugin feature’s called “lazy load media”.

Beyod this issue I’m encountering other problems like

I will turn the feature back to “on” so you can have a look.

Also I really would like to solve the “square” arrow in the menu.

Thank you so much for your help

Hi Luigi,

Sorry about that issue, yes that is a known bug with the latest theme version on the latest Wordpress. Rest assured our Dev Team is working hard to resolve the issues.

In the meantime, you can manually set the Gutenberg editor to Code Editor view.

Please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

In the meantime, please Clear and Deactivate your caching features for a while.

Thanks,

Ok thank you!!

Hello Luigi,

I have log in and cleared your site cache several times.
When I checked your site again, the icons were already showing in the frontend.

Kindly check your site now.

This is the live version of my website. I mean you need to check the site logged out from wordpress.

Unfortunately the menu arrows are still a weird square.

:frowning:

Hey Luigi,

Your menu is powered by the Mega Menu plugin which is a 3rd party plugin. Please note that we do no provide support for 3rd party plugins. Please contact the Mega Menu plugin support. We’re very sorry that we went back and forth regarding the menu icon when we shouldn’t have.

Just a tip, since Ruenel showed the icons are working when logged in, it means that the issue is with your caching plugin provider. You might need to contact Siteground as well to clear all caches in your site.

Thank you for understanding.

Okok thank you

You are most welcome!
