Different header images on different pages

hi there,

is it possible to have different header background images for different sites? eg: home has picture 1, about has picture 2,…

i know i can make different headers, so i can select a header per site, but then i have to maintanance all headers and this is a lot of work.

Thanks for writing in!

Unfortunately, the feature you are looking for is not available in the header builder.
You have to look for custom development or third party plugins.
One possible solution is to make a transparent header and image section in the page itself so that the image section behave as the background of the header.

Don’t forget to make the header position absolute.

can u recommend any tird party plugins? i tried wp header images but hits does not work…

if not i will make different headers for the different sites.

Hi Harald,

This would do https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-display-header/, but again, it would require custom development since you have to create your own header that integrates any 3rd party plugin that you use.
