Differences in text thickness

Hey there,

I have just finished a page with text using a text element. Last week I have edited two other pages using the same element. I just realised that the font thickness on the new page is different to the other ones. looking at the setting i cant seem to find a difference. it’s propably something i am overlooking. could you just have a look at it for me? the pages that i am talking about are “contact” and “about” and the new one is “image licensing&pirnts”.

TIA

Hi there,

I have just checked the pages you mentioned and the headlines seem to look identical.

Would you mind trying to clear your cache?

the headlines are fine. i was talking about the text.

Hi There,

It is most likely because on the other pages you are using the classic text element while on this you are using the V2 text element.

V2 elements don’t use the settings of X Theme Options. At this stage of the product, you need to adjust your settings to each element.

If you want to have the same style as on your old text elements, please use the classic text element.

Hope it helps

hey,

not really. i am not using classic text in any of the pages…

Hi there,

It’s a bit confusing, what page and element you’re having this issue? Your screenshot shows v2 element, so is it displaying correct text thickness?

The v2 element has its own font setting that’s it may look different than a classic element (assuming other pages uses classic element which displays correct text thickness).

If it’s the classic text that displays incorrect text thickness, then replace it with v2 text element. Or if it’s the v2 text element that is wrong, then you can use classic element.

Buf if you prefer to use v2 text element, then configure its font options (inspect it) and make it look the same in the classic text element.

Thanks!
