Difference in font classic text and text

I see that font for text elements is different from font of classic text element.
Please advise how to fix this

Hi @bakrona,

You can select the font for the Text elements, whereas the Classic Text elements use the inherited fonts only. Please find the screenshot describing the Font options of Text element.

So what do i need to change in the text format in order to have same fonts for classic text and text?

If I change font family or font weight it affecs font in the backend but not in the front end version

Hello @bakrona,

Classic Text element has the limitation on the Font as it is an older version of elements. It implements the Font inherited from its parent element and that is the Body in most of the cases. If you still want the Text and Classic Text font similar, I would suggest you select the inherited options in the Text element for the Font.

We always recommend you to use the updated version of elements to avoid any inconsistency.
