Difference between fields: "GLOBAL CSS" and "Customising > Additional CSS"?

What is the difference between adding custom CSS in the following places?

Theme Options > GLOBAL CSS

or

Customising > Additional CSS

Hey @db99,

The difference is the Theme Options CSS is from X so if you have X or X child theme activated, that CSS is loaded.

Additional CSS is from WordPress so that will load regardless of the theme.
