Desktop Navigation bar does not work on Page

Hi,

I have set my website home page to one page navigation and I have a few dropdown menu items that link to other pages. I have maintained the one page navigation for the other pages as well. However, I note that on these other pages, if I select “What we do” for example, it does not link back to the homepage.

How do we address this issue?

Another issue I have is on my mobile website home page, there is a little arrow indicating the dropdown menu items, but on clicking the arrow, it does not drop down, but instead brings me straight to the section.

Thanks for writing in!

Can you please try adding absolute URLs to the one-page menu.
For example, You have added #What instead of that please add the full URL that is www.aurigaip.com/#What

Same for all other menu items.

I am a noob at Cornerstone, so will appreciate more advice on how I should be adding absolute URLs to the one-page menu. Also, how do I add absolute URLs that is directed to a certain section of the homepage?

Hi,

Under Appearance > Menu create another Menu apart from your one page menu and set it as your primary menu.

This menu should be the same as your one-page menu but with absolute urls.

eg.

I had another issue which was not addressed above.

On my mobile website home page, on the link “WHAT”, there is a little arrow on the right hand side indicating the dropdown menu items, but on clicking the arrow, it does not drop down, but instead brings me straight to the “WHAT” section.

Is there any way to enable the drop down menu items to appear for the mobile interface?

Hi Lionel,

The menu link is an ID and the arrow is within the link hence, it would just scroll down as the first icon instead of opening the sub. I tried to change it through jQuery but it’s not working. How about removing the hash URL of the parent menu?
