Designers buying X Theme for Clients .. Some Qs / Suggestions?

Hi Guys,

I will need to buy 4 copies of X for 3 different clients.

You use THEMEFOREST to sell X. BUT I am wondering how best to do this. The clients I find in general want us designers to design the site inc organising the theme used, then bill them after the site is done including the cost of the theme.

So with that in mind is there any proceedure for us designers to smooth this out? Ideally their would be some way to buy multiple licenses and then maybe transfer to a customer account attached to the designers account as long as the designer is employed.

So is the only way to do this at the moment is to setup seperate themeforest accounts for each client, buy with OUR OWN Credit card then charge the client. If credit card is recorded … switch to client credit card going forward? Is this the way people do this?

So - I am asking has X developers got any plans going forward to steamline this process, maybe even make it easier to transfer licences from designer to client once a job is done?

Of course I realise now you have an offer of $29 per license BUT in general terms, do you, will you have some sort of volume discount for designers?

Hey Aidan,

You can purchase from your Themeforest account then you can request a license transfer here in the support forum and we can create the new account for you and move the license over. You will need to provide the following information in a secure note, and then we can take care of this for you:

  • Desired username
  • Full Name
  • Email Address

We’ll set it up with a temporary password, which you can then change using the forgotten password link on the login page.
