The only items showing up for me through Design Cloud are the Packs/Presets (the 4 templates were items I downloaded from WMD). How come I cannot access Sites, Content, Headers, Footers, Layouts?

To find the Site Demos where you can import them, go to the Cornerstone Builder and click the plus “+” button > Themeco tab:
If you want to use a Content, Header, Footer, or Archive layout template, you MUST create a new then click “Use Template”.
For example, create a new Header:
Click the “Use Template”:
And then on the right side panel, go to the Template tab > Themeco to find the Header templates:
You can do the same to find the page content templates, single layouts, archive layouts, or the footer layouts.

So, I tried it - the first site (Sample Site) I was able to install with no problem. But I’ve tried multiple times to download the Windcrest/Education site, and it just hangs here:

Did you install the Revolution Slider 7 version? Please deactivate and delete that plugin. Install this SR6 version instead:
https://chadaustin.com/rev-slider-ver-6/revslider.zip
Then, import Windcrest/Education site.

That was the issue, thank you. Was there a way I should have or could have known that in advance? Also, now that I have it installed, can I update Revolution Slider to the most recent version?

I would suggest that you please keep using the same version of Slider Revolution for now, since there is an ongoing issue in the latest version. Our development team is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
