Design Cloud Integrity Site remove slider in header

Hello!

I haven’t used XPro in some time and found that everything had changed! I installed the Integrity site through Design Cloud and want to remove the header on the home page.

When I look at the Classic Editor for the home page, it says that the slider has been deactivated. I can’t seem to ‘click on it’ to activate it when I try to edit the page in Pro. I know I am missing something. I just can’t fathom what it is.

Could someone please assist?

Many thanks,
Jean

Hi Jean,

Thanks for reaching out.
It will be very difficult to recognize the problem without investigating your website. Can you please share the website URL and if it is required login to access, please provide the login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi Tristup. I don’t understand why it is would be very difficult to recognize the problem. I am using the Design Cloud Integrity Site template for my site. All you need do is run it yourself and you’ll understand the issue. I will not share my username and password. It is not something I have created. It is inherited from Design Cloud. If this problem hasn’t arisen in the past, it is something Themeco need to look at as they are creating problems for their users. My website it https://highfiveonlinespeakers.org.uk You’re welcome to look at the site. I am just beginning to put it together. I don’t want to waste a lot of time on it if I can’t use the template. Many thanks!

Hi Jean,

We have already tested the Integrity site and it imported succesfully at our end. It might be something is blocking at your end and that we need to investigate through the WordPress admin dashboard.
If it is not possible to share the credentials, I would suggest you to check the following points once.

  1. Please check if the mod_security is enabled in your site, which causes the issue in importing and does not let you call the Cornerstone endpoint to import the Design Cloud assests.
And if that is the case, you need contact your hosting service provider to temporarily disable the ModSecurity for you and make the Cornerstone endpoints whitelisted.

  2. The write permission to the uploads folder might be one of the reason behind your issue, I would suggest you to change tha permission to import the images into it.

If the above does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server and give us access in the secure note for further investigation.

NOTE: I have also investigated your site, and found that neither X or Pro or Cornerstone is installed currently at your end.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
