Dequeue block-library/style.min.css while using X Theme Pro

Hi

I would like to know if it is safe to dequeue block-library/style.min.css or is it used by X Theme Pro.

While optimizing the website, I see that I could potentially save 930ms by dequeuing this css.

I was looking at doing this: https://smartwp.com/remove-gutenberg-css/

Thanks for reaching out.
The mentioned file is a WordPress core file and not used by the X or Pro. This is not suggested to dequeue the core files.

If you don’t use Gutenberg than you can safely dequeue those CSS files.

We don’t usually recommend it, but like @JvP mentioned, if you’re not using Gutenburg at all it isn’t going to hurt anything. The problem is that if you ever create content from the WordPress backend it isn’t going to be styled at all on the front end.
