Deprecated notice

returning this in the header of my site www.irishlitsoc.org, seems to be connected with Events Plugin. Not sure what to get rid of the notice.

Deprecated : Hook tec_events_views_v1_should_display_deprecated_notice is deprecated since version 6.0.0! Use No replacement. Legacy views have been removed. instead. in /home/gavclarke/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5754

Hi @gavclarke,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found the Notice showing. I would suggest you update the Pro from the 5.1.4 to 5.1.5 and chekc if that resolves the notice.
You can also suppress the PHP Notice by adding the define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, false ); into the wp-config.php. If that does not help, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– FTP/CPanel credentials to access the files

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

NOTE: Please find the video that will help you to edit wp-config.php and add the above code: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SDPTafEM8o

Thanks

Hello @gavclarke,

Hey @gavclarke,

Please be advised that the PHP Notice tec_events_views_v1_should_display_deprecated_notice is not coming from the theme. It may have came from one of the installed and active plugins. You can deactivate the plugins one at a time to find out whether it is coming the the main events plugin or one of the events addon or extension plugin. Having done this would be easier to assess and address the issue which should be forwarded to the creators of the plugin. They should be able to resolve the issue in no time.

Meanwhile, you are not seeing any Pro theme updates because you are having a validation location issue. Kindly check this documentation how to resolve it by way of revalidating your Pro theme.

Once you have revalidated the Pro theme, you can go to Dashboard > Updates to be able to update the Pro theme. Or maybe, you can just update the Pro theme manually:

You can get the latest Pro theme files in your Themeco account licenses page:

Best Regards.
