Demo failed to finish importing

Hi,

Am trying to install agency demo but it will not import.
Have changed the memory limit, cleared the cache as suggested in other posts but still will not import.

Any suggestions on how i can fix? How can i tell if it is a curl issue as suggested in other posts?

You can check with your host regarding the following for a cURL issue:

– Ensure your firewall is not blocking: http://themeco-demo-content.s3.amazonaws.com/x/
– Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled.
– Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.

If that is all configured correctly, please let us know and we’d be happy to further assist.

Hi Jack,

I have contacted siteground they say they need your IP addresses for http://themeco-demo-content.s3.amazonaws.com/x/ to check if the firewall is blocking them.

They say that the CA root certificates are latest and cURL is working.

Hi Nic,

If SiteGround, can you ask them to increase cURL timeout and then try to generate demo content. If you’re still having issues, please provide us with your login credentials so that we can check your setup.

We need the following information for that:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials
