I purchased x theme pro believing it will have everything (including demo content) x has plus more. However, I am unable to use the “demo content” which is basically the main feature that attracted me. I have seen other people complaining about the same thing over a year ago but it does not seem like anything has changed. What can I use that is similar to demo content as currently I am a beginner so without the demo content to fall back on it will seem like I have wasted my money?

Please be advised that Pro theme is purposely designed to intermediate and advanced users like codes, designers and developers. X theme on the other hand is great for beginners and intermediates especially if they would want to start building the site by using the demo contents. This is also why Pro theme does not have Demo Contents when we launched.
With our latest release, Pro 7.1.0 version, both the X and Pro theme shares the Design Cloud where you can import the Sites or the Expanded Demos. If you already have installed this latest version (7.1.1), simply go to Pro > Validation > Design Cloud, click the “Launch Design Cloud” button and select which expanded demo will be imported.
