Delay in dropdown fade-out css

Hello,

On my website I have 2 little dropdown menus in my header next to each other. When I hover on the first top link to open the dropdown and then over to the second top link there is a significant delay for the first dropdown to close. This makes the website look a bit clumsy because there is an overlap in dropdown menus for a second. Is there an option to make sure this doesn’t happen? The other dropdown needs to close almost instantly or with a 50ms delay or something to make it look nice.

Hope you can help out.

Kind regards,

Hi Marcel,

Thanks for reaching out.
You can adjust the delay for the Dropdown menus by increasing or decreasing the Transition Duration from the Navigation Inline element as shown in the given screenshot.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply,

I have this setting at 50ms already, the fade in works great and fast but the dropdown stays for too long if I remove the cursor from the top link

any idea?

Kind regards,

Hi Marcel,

The Out animation starts after a small delay and that might be the reason the Dropdown stays a little even after the Mouse Out from the Parent navigation item.

Thanks for understanding

Hello,

Thank you for your reply.
Is there any workaround for this delay?

Kind regards,

Hello @marcellos123,

Regretfully there is no option at the moment. It would require custom CSS. Please note that we don’t provide development support. It is out of support scope.

Thanks for understanding
