This is my portfolio page ^

How can i add an additional filter category under “Sort websites” filter at the top of the portfolio category. I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks for writing in! When you’re adding or editing your portfolio items, you can create a new portfolio category and assign your portfolio items to your new category.

Then it will show it as a portfolio filter.

As you can see i tried this, new categories are not showing up, what could be the problem?

Hey @FlywebMedia,

This happens when there is no post associated with the portfolio category. Please assign your category to any portfolio item and it will show up in the sorting filter. To do this edit your portfolio item which needs to be categorized, under Portfolio Categories assign the category to your item.

You can also check the count of how many posts are in that category from the Portfolio Categories page (see screenshot)

Category with 0 posts will not show up in the sorting filter.
