Hello, at 27k1.com there are default image titles on mouse-over in Edge. How can I either remove these titles or change the text please?
Hi @peterf,
You can delete or modify the image Title by clicking on the specific image under the Media menu. Please find the screenshot describing the setting.
Thanks
I did try this but I have found out that Edge does not clear the cache too well.
Many thanks for your reply I’ll try again and I am sure it will work.
Hi, No joy with this at all, firefox has the same issue. Thanks
Howdy, @peterf…I am not seeing the title popups on your site in any browser at this time, I’m assuming you have this sorted? As @tristup mentioned, removing that value in WordPress should eliminate any potential lingering issues, and it is always important to specify your own alt text when adding an Image to a page for proper accessibility. Beyond that, we don’t really have control over how browser choose to implement some of these features (i.e. showing tooltips or not), all we can provide is a way for users to edit that content accordingly via the WordPress admin interface and our builders. Cheers!
Thanks Kory, The issue was the RankMaths plugin which default to insert the title if not present. The title now will not show, but I don’t think it is a big deal.
Hi @peterf,
You’re welcome and we’re glad that it is not a big deal on your end. If you have any other concerns regarding our theme features, feel free to reach us.
Thank you.
