Default CSS

Hi,

I am using Icon stack template. When I use the elements from the template, they are already styled, e.g. headers are all uppercase.
But when I am creating a new header in editor it has a different set of styles.

Why is that and where can I change the styles?

Hi @pablo102,

The demos come with pre-defined styles and it loads that styles while used.

Thanks for understanding

That’s right, but every new element I will add is stripped from these styles, so it would be great to know where are they defined. I presume there are css files for every demo?

Hello @pablo102,

The custom CSS would be on the Pro—>Theme Option —>CSS. You can check it there. There could be some inline CSS on the element and there might be some CSS for the page specified.

In case if you want to override the CSS you can add your custom CSS under -->Pro—>Theme Option–>CSS

Thanks

Thank you for that.
Can I also check with you if my editor is Pro? I changed the theme from X to X-Pro and e.g. while editing grid this would be my left pane:

Is that what I should see using Pro?

Hi Pablo,

The left panel of your Grid element should look like this one:

If you are not seeing the same as mine, please make sure that you updated your Pro theme to the latest version.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

The theme is up to date. Could you please have a look?

Hi @pablo102,

Thank you for providing the credentials. I checked and you have the latest version of Pro, upon further checking you currently have no templates or headers installed. There are no separate CSS files for the templates, all of the resources are configured through builders.

For some elements you may find customization in the Element CSS. You may try installing a resource again and if you still have issues, keep it installed so we can take a closer look and guide you.

Thanks!

Thank you,
The thing worrying me, is that I only have basic customization options in the builder panel comparing to what I should have seen with Pro. Could you check on that too?

Hi @pablo102,

I have checked your website and found that the Advance Mode is not enabled and which is the reason that you are not seeing the major settings for the elements. I went ahead and enable it through the Pro > Preferences, and now you can get all options available.
