Default Cornerstone element values

Hello! We’re using Cornerstone (through Pro) and would like to know if we can set default values for certain elements. In all our sites, we change the “Font” from “inherit” to “body” for every single text element.

Is there a way for us to set “Body” as the default value for any added text element?
This may seem like a small detail, but we have 10+ people creating content on various websites and it would improve their QoL.

Thanks for writing in!

You can set the "Body " font in your Cornerstone > Theme Options > Typography > Body and Content so that the next time you insert a Text element that is using the “Inherit” property, it will inherit the same font family from the global theme options settings.

We’ll give it a try! The “Body” option doesn’t seem to be available from there (?).

It seems that you are checking it on the theme options, please note that when you set the Font to the Theme Options —>Body and content now when you then try to set the font on the page builder element you can set the Font as Inherit. It will render the same font family you set on the Body and content from the Theme Options.

Thank you, but I don’t think that answers the initial need to have “Body” by default, since it’s not available in the list. Am I missing something?

Hey @magikweb,

You must enable the Font Manager first before the “Body” font will display in the dropdown.
