Deactivate Google Fonts

Hy, i tried to deactivate the connection of the google fonts to my homepages. I do this with the tool “self-hosted google fonts”.
It works at 4 Homepages perfect, at 2 i got problems. I see in google developermode that google fonts are still active.
Could you help to find, what plugin is the reason for it?

Hey @dani_blues,

3rd party plugin support is not part of our theme support. Try doing a plugin conflict test.

In the Theme Options and in the Builders, make sure you’re not using any Google Font.

Thanks.

Hy Christian, that makes me a littlebit sad.
But i found it on my own. The Plugin named “Essential Grid” is the plugin that uses google fonts. If i deactivate it, the scan about googlefonts is fine.

But what i find bad is, that you show the plugin at the Extensions-Main-Page of your template. So i installed it at every!! Homepage i ever made with the X theme.co - Templates. At this time it are 18 Homepages, 18 paid licenses!

And now i have to deactivate the using of google-fonts in germany, because of DSGVO.
So please help me to just remove the using of googlefonts at the Essential grid plugin. Please.

Hey @dani_blues,

Thank you for testing for a plugin conflict.

You don’t have to deactivate the Essential Grid. You just have to remove the Google Fonts from your grids. For example, you remove the Google Font from your grid skin code.

Also, edit the actual skin in the Skin Editor, Instead of using a Google Font, select a System Font like `Georgia, serif". A system font is a font already in an Operating System.

Hope that helps.
