{{dc:term:name}} not pulling Primary Category

We are using {{dc:term:name}} to pull the name of the category, which we link to the category page using {{dc:term:url}}. However, it is not pulling the Primary Category name:

This is causing the category page to become orphaned due to not being linked from its corresponding posts.

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the latest version of WordPress but didn’t find the option to make the Primary Category in the Post. I have also tested the {{dc:term:name}}, {{dc:term:url}} and it shows correctly. Are you using any 3rd Party plugin to set the Primary category to post or any other custom post type? If that is the case, you need to contact the plugin author on this. If you have added any custom coding to get those options, you need to check that. Please remember that 3rd Party plugin and custom coding issues are beyond the scope of Theme Support.
