Hey Support Team,

I have a problem with the database of my website. The URL is: https://www.garten-kiste.de
There is a searchbar in the frontpage and when I don`t type in anything just klick on “search” it appearce this message:

Can you tell me what causes this errors from the database? Where to serach solutions?

Thank you for helping me out!

Hello @ArtOfSpring,

Thanks for asking.

I checked the website and can see the search bar on home page. I pressed enter key without entering any words and can replicate the error message. Error message is quite odd and might be causing becasue of following reasons:

  1. Plugin conflict: Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  2. PHP version: Please check your PHP versions and make sure to use WordPress recommended versions (https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). We recommend PHP v7.0 or higher to avoid incompatibility issues.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hey Prasant,

I’ve Tried both ways. Now Webbserver got tomost actual PHP Version of 7.2. But the Error still remains…
Then I tried to quit some Plugins but it didn’t worked out so far…

Is there any other thing I can do? Sometimes I get another Error too from the database.

Everything that they recommand abbove I already tried out. The wp-config.php got the right Username and Password.

Hope you can help me out…

Thank you

Hi There @ArtOfSpring

Your issue seems to be related to your hosing provider. I think it would be best to contact your hosting provider to resolve this issue. Also you can try following this troubleshooting guide here (https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-error-establishing-a-database-connection-in-wordpress/).

Thanks!
