Cut off Headline/Text

Hi, I am trying to achieve a purposely ‘punked’ cut off text effect but appear to be failing at every attempt that I try, if I use two columns how can I push the text off both far right and far left in each column to achieve it?

Please see attached image to understand what I am trying to achieve.

Thanks for writing in! To get the texts to display without being cut off, please set the Overflow to “Visible” in your Column > Setup settings.

If this is not helping, please provide us the URL of the page where we can find those TWO columns with the cut off texts.

Hmm it appears that you have misread my message! As previously stated I actually want the text cut off, the image is what I want to achieve by using two columns and having the text justify right and left separately in each. but I am unable to be able to get it to cut off as in the image.

Hello @mode500,

You can set the Overflow to hidden if you want to text to get cut off. It is best that you use a DIV element and then a Headline element like this:

And in the DIV element settings, hide the overflow for both X and Y:

And you also need to set a maximum width to limit the readable portion of the text which is inside the DIV element.
