Customizing the Sidebar using PRO

Hi. How do I customize the sidebar inside PRO to make it look the way I want?

Hello @jhayles,

Thanks for reaching out. You can go to Pro > Layout and create a custom layout for the page or post that needs a sidebar.

In you custom layout, you can insert a section with 2/3 + 1/3 column layout where the 1/3 part will serve as your sidebar. You can design the sidebar and any elements inside it the way you like. To insert the sidebar widgets, you can simply use the Widget Area element.

Thank you. Also, I want to “copy” my layout on a custom layout I created, and put the 3 most recent posts on my website’s homepage, underneath the main picture. However, when I saved my Archives Template as a Preset and inserted it into my homepage, it’s not showing the three most recent posts correctly. It just shows one layout and the title says “Home” on it. Can you help me with that?

Hi @jhayles,

I would suggest you save the content of the Layout as Template by using the Save Template option in the page, and use the Load template option to load the specific template wherever it is required.

NOTE: I have checked the given URL, but didn’t find the section you mentioned in your comment.
