So I’m trying to customize a component in a layout and not seeing the option to do so like I had. These are personify components. Is something disabled?
Just created my own component and its showing so I must be tied to these proposify components. how do we enable it?

Thanks for writing in! If you modify a component, you will have to do it in the Component Builder. You need to edit the Component layout and find the component element that you are trying to modify. Can you please name which component and what Personify theme you were using?

Is the dynamic content button in say a text element disabled in those theme elements?

A Text element is not a button nor has a dynamic content button.
Could you please clarify what you have in mind and which part of the Text element you want to change?

Every text element has the dynamic content capability. I pull meta descriptions, the_content, etc typically. i would like to dynamically update the headline like we can on every other headline in layouts
while we are at it. Im trying to add a header section to a layout and we cant dynamically pull the featured image as the background
and the original question is still open. The “Allow Customizations” isn’t an option on Personify created elements

Regretfully, we have no idea what the issue is. I checked the Personify (Mogul): Hero Heading component in my site and you can add Dynamic Content.
At this point, we would really need you to provide detailed information including screenshots. It would be way better if you provide a video recording of the issue. And, ask one issue covering one area at a time.

Im talking about looping in those elements. Not the dynamic content
