Can’t use customize as I get an error when it tries to load. Never had this problem.
Here’s the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method Cornerstone_Common::get_app_route_url() in /home1/liquescence/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/x/framework/functions/admin/customizer.php on line 36

Kindly double check that you have Cornerstone active on your site. If it’s already active, try logging in through FTP and go to wp-content/plugins then delete the current cornerstone directory that is in there.
You can then log back in to Wordpress admin and Cornerstone should be automatically reinstalled.
You may also check in X > Theme Option to customize X options.

Hi - I deleted the Cornerstone plugin, but it didn’t automatically recreate. It broke the site; some images are not shown now. I CAN get into customizer, but now the broken Cornerstone images are a huge problem. Should I reinstall Cornerstone?

Navigate to X > Validation and X will automatically reinstall a compatible version for you.
Then navigate to Customizer or X > Theme Option, and see if the error remains. If not, then probably reinstalling the Cornerstone resolved it.
Remember to clear all caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
