Customizer Bug

Hi,

You wrote that you have moved the customizer as it’s own options panel.

Lost CSS Stylings since Update

But there is still a bug.

I open one of my posts like:

When I now click on “Customizer” in the Admin Bar and then on the new botton “Customize X in Theme Options” the Customizer preview doesn´t stay on the post - it redirects me to my mainpage. Why is this happening?

Hi Michael,

When you load the Theme Options, it will load the homepage initially. However, you could navigate to other pages by click on the site links and make the changes in the Theme Options settings then the current page that you load will remain as is and you should be able to see the preview of the changes on that page.

This is a new behavior. Before you have stayed on the site where you open the Customizer.

I can navigate to that post. But when I put some extra CSS to the Customizer you can not see the preview of the changes on that page. There is no reload or anything else. For example: you can delete everything from the Custom CSS, but nothing will happens with the page preview.

Thanks for updating the thread.

I think you are getting confused between customizer and theme options panel. Please use only theme options panel. Regarding additional CSS and preview, by default you only see the home page but you do have the option to open other pages and preview the changes. Please see following screencasts.
