Customize X Theme No Longer Works After Update

Hello,

I can no longer access ‘Customize’ after updating Cornerstone and X theme, even after disabling all plugins. It will allow me to access the first ‘Customize’ page however once I click customize X, it has the loading wheel of death.

It was working until I went to the ‘cog’ settings icon and turned on advanced font manager, selected Roboto font and it said ‘error font not found’ then freaked out and now it doesn’t work. Cheers

I’m also having issues with Cornerstone update (Wordpress version 5.2.3). For me, I just get a bunch of error lines showing on the actual public page. Following this conversation to see how support answers you. Good luck!

Likewise, just tested Cornerstone and it no longer works also, just spins on the loading screen

Hi Samuel and Kate,

We’ve seen some cases of either Cornerstone or X being updated, but not both. Please make sure you’re using the latest version of X and Cornerstone. This doesn’t apply to Pro users, as all the files are contained in the theme.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi Jade, thankyou I can confirm I had to go to Updates>X and update to the latest version, this now works properly. Cheers! Sam
