Continuation from a closed thread that remains UNSOLVED.

Customize X in Theme Options BROKEN

I have disabled two factor auth again and temporarily disabled Wordfence so you can now get in and see what I’m talking about.

I’m STILL unable to edit any theme options : (

Please help!

Hi Samantha,

Thanks for reaching out.
It seems that you are using the much older version of the X (version 6.5.5) theme whereas the Cornerstone has been updated to 5.1.3. The issue you are having might be due to the incompatibility between X and Cornerstone. I would suggest you to update the X theme and follow the below steps while updating the X theme and the Cornerstone.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone existing one
  2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
  3. After deletion of the Cornerstone, please use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone.
