Customize the error and success messages

I’ve integrated the x-email plugin (bottom page). How can I customize the error and success messages that come up when a user submits their email? I’m trying to get a different background color for the message background (right now it’s green for success, and red for error). I already tried below code - no result ;(

.tco-alert-success{
color:#468847;border-color:#c1dea8;background-color:#dff0d8
}

–Fixed by adding it tot the right CSS file :grin:
