Customize Pro in Them Options Not Working

Has there been an update on this? I’m having this same problem.

I have two sites with Pro. One of them works fine. My other one works fine within the dashboard, but when I go to “Customize Pro in Theme Options” it asks me to log in. When I log in again, It brings up a window asking me where I want to go. My other site does not show this window when I click “Customize Pro in Theme Options.” My other site takes me directly to Theme Options.

My site that it’s not working on https://steffenharris.com, shows this window. When I click on any of the options (Headers, Footers, Theme Options, etc) I get a login window again, but the link I clicked never loads. it just keeps asking me to log in and then select an option. If I wait a few seconds without doing anything, the login prompt opens up.

Wordpress is 5.2.1
Pro is the most recent version
Links in general settings are the same.
No Cache plugin being used

Hello There,

Thank you for the credentials.
I am seeing this error before it ask to login again:
Uncaught Object invalid_user: true message: "nonce verification failed." __proto__: Object
You said No Cache plugin being used. Did you used cache plugin before and you just disabled it? If yes, sometimes it leaves some code on your htaccess file. See this thread

If that is not the case, can you try disabling Endurance Page Cache on your site on WordPress > General settings. Again after that check your htcess files. Compare the content of this site htaccess file to the content where of htaccess file of the other site that is working properly. If the issue persists, please share FTP credentials inside a secure note. Thank you.

I think I had a cache plugin a long time ago, maybe beginning of last year, but it’s since been disable and deleted. This issue just started happening today from what I’ve noticed. I checked my htaccess and wp-config files and there aren’t any traces of cache codes in them. I tried all this and still the same error. Adding secure note now

Hi Steffen,

It’s due to one of your plugins, I deactivated them through FTP and it started working. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Please note that this is not theme or builder specific, it also happens by accessing Admin > Appearance > Customize and reloading while the theme is inactive.

Let us know how it goes!

Well, that did the trick. Unfortunately, I didn’t find the cause though. The only one that I didn’t try because I already had a plugin that did this was I deleted the plugin WP Instagram Feed. All my other plugins I re-activated one by one and none of them seemed to make the issue come up. Maybe it was the WP Instagram plugin, maybe I just had to deactivate and redo all my plugins for kicks and giggles to work out the kink? Either way, I’m back in business. Thank you

You are most welcome.
