I tried to set up a blog, which currently looks something like:
I’ve downloaded the wp-index.php
from wp-content/themes/x/framework/views/integrity/
and put it into wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/views/integrity/
.
The contents of the wp-index.php
are:
<?php get_header(); ?>
<div class="x-container max width offset">
<div class="<?php x_main_content_class(); ?>" role="main">
<h2 class="mtn">Latest Updates | News</h2>
<?php x_get_view( 'global', '_index' ); ?>
</div>
<?php get_sidebar(); ?>
</div>
<?php get_footer(); ?>
I need to edit <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_index' ); ?>
and replace it with something using
<?php while ( have_posts() ) {
echo '<div class="post"></div>';}?>
Currently, I have 2 columns (or 3), but ideally I would want only 1 column, but what I want to achieve is a 50-50% split between the image and meta content: Title, Tag, Date, 50-60 words of content, featured image. Example: https://www.digitalcomputerarts.com/type/stories
