Customising Global Blocks

Hi!

I’m building a website and I’ve encountered two problems I can’t seem to solve so far, I hope you can help me!

  1. I’m trying to embed a podcast in this Global Block: https://demo.theme.co/designcloud/content/focus-areas/
I can’t find a way to show it full, some cropping always happens:

  2. I’d like to change the font size of this Global Block: https://demo.theme.co/designcloud/content/section-dividers-3/ However, when I do it, it looks tiny on laptops but huge on cellphones. How can I fix that so the font size is ok in all screens?

Thanks!!!

Hi Alvaro,

Thank you for writing in, 1) That might not be possible to customize since that element is inside iFrame. Please provide us login credentials on a secure note so we can take a closer look.

2.) I don’t see this issue on the demo itself, It might be something you did on the setup of this section, please provide us login credentials.

Thanks,

Hi Alvaro,

Unfortunately, the given credentials are not working. Can you please check and send it once again.

Thanks

That’s really weird, someone has changed my password. I’ve changed it again and updated my secure note.

Hello Alvaro,

Thanks for sharing the login details,

1st query

I went ahead and checked your settings. It seems that you have set the iframe size as 100, I would suggest you set it as 100%. Please have a look at the given screenshot in the secure note.

2nd query

I would suggest you go to the Global block and then —>Text Format —>Click on the Size. It would give an option to set the size for all the devices. Please check the secure note screenshot.

Hope it helps
Thanks

Thank you so much. The second query is solved. I’ve changed what you said for the 1sr query but the problem persists (images

Hey @bablingua,

The suggestion of my colleague is for the iframe to span 100% of the column.

The issue you’re having is the “content” of the iframe which our theme does not have control of. You need to contact the provider of the iframe code and tell them that you want the "content’ of the iframe to span 100% of the iframe all the time.

Fixing the content of the iframe requires custom coding and we cannot provide further help with that as it’s beyond the scope of our theme support.

If you want us to investigate further, please consider subscribing to One where we can provide answers to custom development questions.

Thanks.
