Custom Sort/filter Archive w/Button & Query Builder

Is there a way to have a button set that will update the archive sort.

Query Builder builds the initial Archive Page, I’d like to use buttons to change the sort based on Category - ie. Initial View = All Posts, Click button and show only posts with category Articles or click a different button and show only posts with category Projects

Any help or direction would be welcome

Hello Greg,

Thanks for writing in! When building a custom archive layout, you do not need to have a Looper Provider Query Builder. Also, be advised that WordPress has these page archives:

Blog Index - display all post items
  - Articles archive page - all article post items
  - Category 1 archive page - all category 1 post items
  - Category 2 archive page - all category 2 post items
  - Category 3 archive page - all category 3 post items

You can use Button elements in your custom layout and link each button to the archive pages above which will serve as you sort/filter button.
