Custom search template that looks only for authors

Hello team!

Our designer in my team gave us this authors page design. What bugs me out a little is the search part. He wants users click on the search icon and then you can search for authors only since this is a news website and has tons of authors.

X Pro has an excellent Search Dropdown element, which I’m thinking is the best solution here. How can I make possible this only element to search for authors only?

Thanks for reaching us. The search dropdown element will search for WordPress pages, posts. Your search specific needs require custom modifications and it is beyond the scope of our support already.
