Custom menu links

Hi,

For a new website I’m trying to design a custom menu bar:

The idea is to make each ‘leaf’ a toplink that changes color when hovered/clicked. How would I go about doing that? Is it possible with the graphic elements or sub particles in the Header builder?

Hello @yingfuli,

Thanks for writing in!

You can make use of the Graphic Setup in the navigation element and enable the image as the graphic for the menu. You can use the primary and secondary graphic image.

Hope this helps.

Ah, thanks. I’ll give it a go and let y’all know how it turns out.

You’re welcome!

Hi,

I’ve made this sketch for a new website - http://wpdept.nl/massage/ - and was wondering how to best get those leaflets as menu items. Any help or pointing towards some manual would be greatly appreciated.

In short: I want a one page website where the leafs are the top links of the menu. When activating each top link there should appear another text/images…

Hi @yingfuli,

Regretfully, that will require heavy customization. The Classic tab element might able to do that but it will require a lot of custom CSS which might result in your page hard to maintain. The only plugin that could think now is the Revolution Slider with its Carousel feature (sample here).

Try posting on the Peer-to-peer forum, maybe someone knows a plugin that can easily do that effect.

Thank you for understanding,
