Custom Icons Now Empty Squares

Hi,

After updating my site to 2.2.2 a lot of my icons turned into empty squares.
Clearing cache multiple times didn’t help.

I use custom icons with the “Cornerstone Custom Icons” plugin by Micheal Bourne.
So I assume that might be the issue here.
Within the FAQ I can see that I need to change some sort of attribute however, I am not entirely sure what to do and how to do that.

Would be awesome if I could get some help here.

Hi @StiickzZ

Sounds like there is incompatibility between “Cornerstone Custom Icons” and the recent Pro theme, you might need to report this issue to the plugin author, as I can see he released an update 5 days ago addressing a similar issue, however, another update for Pro theme was released after that, perhaps that requires another update for his plugin as well.

Hi There,

I see that you’re using WP Rocket please clear the WP Rocket caching and all the other caching feature of the site.

If that did not work, please re-set all your elements with icons.

@friech As mentioned in my initial post, clearing cache is already what I tried without any result.

Whenever I choose to pick one of the custom icons they just show up as a blank icon so re-setting them is not a solution either.

Hi!

That’s correct!

The developer gave me the following CSS code:

[data-x-icon-s] {
font-family: “FontAwesome”;
font-weight: normal;
}

This fixed it easily.

A few hours ago, we have release X 6.2.4 and Cornerstone 3.2.4 which will resolve the other icon issues in the theme. Please update to the latest and/or you can check the changelog here: https://theme.co/changelog/
