Custom Headline Change Color of Accent Line

I am using the Renew Stack and started with the Renew Agency template. I noticed the Custom Headline on the About page and I am using it elsewhere in the site. I figured out it uses the class ‘h-custom-headline accent’ on the ‘Customize’ tab of the Headline element. What I want to do is to change the color of the accent line as shown here (green arrows pointing to line):

I tried to experiment with the code shown in this post: Change accent colors for whole website? but have not had any luck.

What Additional CSS code do I need to add in order to change the color of the accent line?

Hi @GregoryArndt,

Thanks for reaching out.
The CSS class structure has changed a little bit and the selector should be as shown in the following example CSS code.

.h-custom-headline.accent span:before,
.h-custom-headline.accent span:after
{
    border-top: 4px solid #ff0000;
}

Please remember that the above code will work if copied as it is and doesn’t conflict with any existing style.
Please note that the code provided serves only as a guide to help you get started custom coding on your own if there’s no option offered in our theme or the products we bundle.
We really do not provide support for custom codes which means we can’t fix it in case it conflict with something on your site nor will we enhance it. Further customization should be directed to a third-party developer or you can avail of One, where we answer the questions beyond normal theme support.

Thanks

Worked perfectly! Thank you!

Hi @GregoryArndt,
