Custom Fonts not loading

Hello,

We have two X Theme sites, one of them, custom fonts are not being recognized, but on the other, they are pulling in fine. At the moment the second site is a copy of the first, but that will be changing soon. However, the fonts will remain the same, and we don’t know why one site accepts them and one does not.

All fonts are WOFF format, have been added to the font manager, and are available for selection. We have also tried re-uploading some font files, but it is hit and miss, Mission Script, in particular, seems to be a big offender. Both sites have their own licenses and domains associated with each inside of our account.

Help would be greatly appreciated and I’m happy to share URLs/details privately with support if needed.

Thanks for writing in!

This sound like a CORS (Cross Origin Resource Sharing) issue. To resolve this, please install Better Search and Replace plugin. You will have to search for a keyword of the old site and replace it with the new site.

Thanks for the note! We tried that, but now we’ve gotten a ton of errors and broken images

We fixed it with a new copy and using the search and replace in the copy process. Thanks for the help identifying the CORS issue.
