Custom font dropped off after setting up SSL

Hi,
I’ve launched a new site and just installed an SSL with Let’s Encrypt.

Before I set up the SSL, the custom font was working fine. Once installed, it disappeared. SO, I realised that I need to correct the font path to include https. All good. Except the font still isn’t showing.

I’ve managed to add the font (Hobo) to the font manager in Pro (didn’t know you could do that!) but in a lot of places, I’m using the custom headline element so have specified the font in the style field on the element.

An example is on the homepage - www.littleturtleswimcompany.co.uk - where the very top heading should be in the custom font.

Can you tell me what I’ve done wrong?

Thanks,
Loren

Hi Loren,

There might be some more link on your site that must be updated to https. Please install the Better Search Replace plugin then do the following:

search for http://example.com and replace it with https://example.com and
search for http:\/\/example.com and replace it with https:\/\/example.com

Replace example.com with the domain name of your site.

Let us know how it goes.

It seemed to correct itself on desktop and it’s all good now,… however, on mobile the font still doesn’t show.

Hi Loren,

May I know which mobile you’re testing it with? It works on my end, and the files serve from desktop is just the same for mobile. Please clear your mobile browser cache and test it again.

Thanks!

Ah! Yes! The mobile cache! I completely forgot about that one.

All cleared and font looks perfect. Sorry!

You’re welcome. Glad we’re able to help.
