Custom featured images using Layout Builder

Hello there,

We are displaying a custom post type here: https://hub.btwhole.sale/insights-plus/

Is it possible to switch the featured image off within specific posts so that only the text is displayed? My client wants to be able to display either an image, an icon, or nothing depending on the post. I think they can just display the icon as a featured image but I am not sure about hiding the image all together.

Please see the attached image for an example.

Thanks for reaching out.
If I am able to understand your point, you want to show image only for specific post types, whereas for others text and image both. If that is the case, you can add a condition to the post content by checking the post type you can use the {{dc:post:post_type}} or Post Type checking inside the looper to get the post type of that specific post.
Your condition might be as a screenshot.
