Custom CSS/ Content CSS Pro v.2

Hi there. First I want to say that the new version 2 of Pro looks fantastic! Great Job!

I wanted to do a manual update so I can start using it today instead of waiting for the automatic update. The only worry I have before doing so is if I will loose my Content CSS etc that I added through the Theme if I do so. I have a Child theme installed too, but there is nothing in the style.css file there. Where is all the CSS per Page stored in FTP so I can update without loosing it? Or would it be better to wait for the automatic update? Will that keep all of my settings and CSS in place?

Hi there,

Thanks for writing around! You can safely update the theme manually without an issue. You won’t loose any of your customization. However it is recommended to move all of your CSS to the child theme’s style.css file and take a full backup of your site + database just in case if anything goes wrong.

Works like a charm! However I can’t seem to find the design cloud? Maybe I’m just missing it somewhere… ideas?

Hi again,

First clear your browser’s cache and then in WP admin panel navigate to X > Templates, on the right side of the screen you’ll find the Design Cloud option (see screenshots)

I don’t see any templates in there, it shows up empty and doesn’t seem to see the design cloud?

Hi Max,

Have you validated your site? Design cloud is only available with the validated copy of the site and theme. You can’t get any of that on a site that isn’t connected to our server.
