Custom CSS breaks on language change

Hi there,

I am working on a webshop with the WPML plugin installed. For the english version, I have some custom CSS written. But when I change to language of the shop, the custom css breaks into a single line of text. And therefore not applying. Do you have a solution for this?

Thanks for reaching out.
It will be very difficult to recognize the problem without investigating the settings. I would request you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– Specific page URL where it is happening.

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

You are using the X theme. You cannot use the Cornerstone Builder to edit your Shop Index. We have checked most of the pages and we could not find it. Can you please provide us the URL where you have experienced the issue?

So how should I apply custom css to a multi-language checkout page in WooCommerce?

Hi @lowlandet,

You can add the CSS code into the Global CSS and if you have specific CSS code for the specific language you can use the lang attribute of CSS as shown in the following article.

This works, but only if I put it into the Global CSS field. Not in the Page CSS, and it needs to work on a page level.

Which page are you trying to edit and have added the custom CSS which breaks on the other language of the page? Please send the the specific URL and may be your custom CSS as well so that we can test it out in our local testing server.
