Custom colors for footer content

Hello

I am trying to set the color of my footer content/social links but am a bit confused- can you please check my custom CSS and see if there is something in there that is setting the content to match the background color? Right now my instagram link and any other content other than the nav menu show up the same color as the background making them impossible to see. You can see the footer live here

I am including my login info in a secure note below. Please let me know how I can go about customizing the color of the social links/ other footer content

Also- as far as the footer menu goes, how can I change the size and colors of the link text and remove the underline?

Thanks!

Hello @whitelobster11,

Thanks for writing in!

You can add following CSS under X > Launch > Options > CSS to change footer social icon color, increase footer link font size and color:

.x-colophon.bottom .x-social-global a {color: #000;}

.x-colophon.bottom .x-nav li a {text-decoration: none;}

.x-colophon.bottom .x-nav li a:hover {color: #7d6d6d;}

.x-colophon.bottom .x-nav li a {color: #000; font-size: 18px;}

Please change color code ad values as per your requirement.

Thanks.

This almost fixed everything thanks so much

How do I change the color of the actual footer content writing (not the menu links but text written in the footer? Also, how do I increase the size of the social icons?

Is there a way to easily organize link menus into different columns the way footer links are organized on this weebly site or would that require the use of the PRO theme?

Thanks!

Hi There,

You can use the custom CSS below to change the color of footer content text and increase the size of the footer social icons.

/*footer content text color*/
.x-colophon.bottom .x-colophon-content {
	color: magenta;
}

/*footer social icon foot size*/
footer .x-social-global a i {
	font-size: 2em;
}

In X|Theme, you have two sections of footer the bottom footer which you have now and the top footer which can be up to 4 columns. To activate the top footer navigate to Theme Options > Footer and set the FOOTER WIDGET AREAS to how many columns you need, then saved. To fill this top footer columns navigate to Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets from there you’ll see the Footer 1 - Footer 4 for you to place it with widgets.

Cheers!
