I’ve tried to enable custom colors in the ‘tiny_mce_before_init’ hook, but it doesn’t show up in the editor in Pro in Text or Classic Text elements. Here’s a StackOverflow thread that describes what I want to do: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23171247/add-custom-text-color-wordpress-3-9-tinymce-4-visual-editor
Hi There,
Thank you for writing in, regretfully, we cannot provide support for third-party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original author.
V2 elements has a text color option.
Thank you for your understanding,
This is not a plugin, but a built-in function of WordPress. I read somewhere else on here that Pro uses the default editor in content blocks. If that is the case, then using this hook should work.
Hi there,
Even though it uses the same editor, the features are different and some of it’s filters are intentionally removed. We could only do for now is add this to our issue tracker as a feature request.
Thanks!
OK, thanks.
You’re welcome.
