Custom built calculator not working correctly on mobile and tablet

Hello,

We run a vaping website and have had several calculators built for us that are currently on the site:

Of the five calculators we have there only seems to be a problem with one; http://vapinghardware.com/calculators/e-liquid-calculator/

The e-juice calculator works absolutely fine when being used through PC/Laptop/Mac/iPhone, across all browser types, but doesn’t function correctly when being accessed via android tablet or phone. We have a section that allows visitors to enter their e-juice flavour name and the percentage of flavouring to use. When trying to enter information in these boxes from a tablet or phone the qwerty keyboard flashes up only to disappear moments later, before being able to enter the desired information.

We have been back to the person who developed and embedded the calculators on the website for us and he’s checked his code several times. He’s stressed there isn’t any error within his code and that he believes its the WordPress theme that’s restricting the android tablet and phone users.

If you could shed any light on what the problem is or suggest a best approach to fixing the problem we’d be really grateful.

Many thanks,
Vaping Hardware

Hey @VapingHardware,

I experienced the issue in my phone. However, we would first need to know if the theme is really causing the issue. To quickly test that,

  1. Disable all third party plugins and remove all custom Javascripts in your site then check if the issue persists.
  2. Switch to the default WordPress theme then also check if the issue persists.
  3. Switch to the Pro theme. At this stage, if it’s still working, the issue could be in your child theme.

It is important that you do all of the listed steps above.

Thanks.
