Custimize Buddy Press Pages

Hello!

Almost have my site up and running, but I need to get my buddy press pages up to speed with the rest of my site. (hippieonholiday.com)

I’m looking for a full profile, personal activity feed that they can update, as well as groups like reddit groups with forums. This seems possible with Buddy press, and I’ve figured out how to edit the profile fields - but the pages still look UGGGLLYYY.

If you go on my site you will see, I am using the white page plugin (that came with x theme) for my login screen (which looks mediocre at best). But if you click register, or make an account and click activity etc it is completely white, completely blank, and super NOT user friendly.

How can I add a background to these pages? How do I edit or reformat these to look better? I’ve looked everywhere and can not seem to find any clear guides for this. Any help appreciated!

Hi Cassidy,

Thank you for writing in, regretfully, those pages are something that you can’t edit within the theme. You need to modify a template file (see details below) to edit those page.

Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself.
